this is me! lol

welcome, i’m Amelia. a visual storyteller, writer + photographer

editorial • fashion • edgy • intimate • beauty • lifestyle

my creative work began long before the camera. writing has always been my first language, as a way of processing, remembering + making meaning. photography became an extension of that instinct: another way to tell the story when words fall short. together, image + language form the foundation of Dainty Domain.

with a background in fashion, modelling + creative direction, i bring an editorial eye to every project — but never at the expense of authenticity.

based out of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.

a decade of experience

with a background in fashion, modelling + creative direction, I bring an editorial eye to every project — but never at the expense of authenticity. having spent years in front of the lens, I understand the vulnerability of being seen + I guide sessions with intention, sensitivity + clarity.

my training in yoga + mindfulness informs how I hold space. sessions are calm, grounded + collaborative — less about performance, more about presence. you don’t need to know how to pose. you just need to arrive.

this work is intuitive, exploratory + rooted in presence rather than performance. it’s for those drawn to depth, nuance + imagery that feels raw, refined + real.

it is for those who understand that art doesn’t always arrive fully formed.

why?

Dainty Domain exists as a creative + an ongoing art project because that’s how I move through the world — witnessing, collecting + translating feeling into form.

i’m a visual storyteller + writer at heart. photography is one of my languages; writing is another. some stories arrive as images, others as words + many live somewhere in between. Dainty Domain was created to hold all of it.

alongside client work, this space lives as a written + visual archive through my patreon — an experimental home for personal essays, visual studies + evolving photographic series. it isn’t a gallery of others’ stories. it’s a place where my own work unfolds in real time, without needing to be fixed or finished.
